Bua Sa Hockeyvillage India - Mothers of german national players Moritz Fürste and Florian Fuchs visited the village - Hockey lessons with the veterans team from Vienna and 100 new sticks

One week later the mothers of Moritz Fürste and Florian Fuchs visited the village during the hockey championship and organised a hockey training in our village. Again one week later, in the end of March, I visited together with a hockey team from Vienna the village. Sponsored by our partner T.H.W. we brought 100 hockey sticks and handed them out. The cows on the land in front of the fort had to leave so that a hockey training could start. The children had so much fun and even the 40 degrees prevent them to stop. We promised to rebuild the land in front of the fort to a hockey court, of course without grass but that is ok for the beginning. The tractors roll the land so that it is free from disruptive things. At the moment we are looking for some volunteers who are willing to work for 2 months in our village to teach English and train hockey with the kids. So volunteers step forward!

Gleich eine Woche später besuchten die Mütter von Moritz Fürste und Florian Fuchs während der Hockey WM unser Dorf und hielten dort ein Training ab. Wiederum eine Woche später, also Ende März begleitete ich eine Senioren Hockey Mannschaft der Wiener Arminen in unser Dorf. Wir hatten von unserem Sponsoren T.H.W. 100 Kinderhockeyschläger bekommen, die wir zusammen mit den Hockeyherren an die Kinder verteilt haben. Auf dem Gelände vor dem Fort wurden die Kühe vertrieben und eine Art Hockeytraining fand statt. Tatsächlich waren nach weniger als einer Stunde schon einige Talente zu erkennen. Die Kinder hatten so viel Spaß, dass sie auch die 40 Grad Hitze nicht zum Aufhören zwingen konnten. Wir versprachen, das Gelände vor dem Fort in einen Hockeyplatz umzubauen - natürlich ohne Gras, aber für den Anfang ist das ok... Die Traktoren walzen momentan den Vorplatz frei und entfernen die letzten Mauerreste. Auch für die Kühe wurde ein neues Zuhause gefunden ;o) Im Moment suchen wir händeringend Volontäre, die ab diesem Sommer mindestens 2 Monate in unserem Dorf verbringen und den Kids Englisch und Hockey beibringen!
